  • Possess large and wide-spanning horns on their heads; average height surpasses 3m when including the horns
  • Have thick necks. Their limbs are all equal length, allowing them to run quadrupedally
  • Possess developed back muscles, and their spines are especially flexible
  • Also referred to as ‘deer’

Dunbert

  • Maximum height: 2.5m
  • Of the Grude races, possess the most developed five senses as well as effective night vision
  • Their limber muscles allow them an exceeding amount of explosive power
  • Also referred to as ‘wolves’

  • Society is closer to a community rather than a country or kingdom
  • Estimated life expectancy is 80 years (Because many die in battle, the average life expectancy is 35 years old, but the average lifespan of those who bore wounds in battle and became merchants is 80 years)

  • There is no marriage system. Children are raised by the mother as well as her sisters. No expectations are thought toward the fathers
  • As individuals, the contracts they undertake as mercenaries are everything. If one breaks a contract, they become the shame of their tribe, and the people of the same lineage must settle the matter

  • Average life expectancy is 120 years
  • Pregnancy period is 20 months
  • There are many miscarriages; out of 5 pregnancies, there is only 1 birth. Of 10 children, only 5 will live to 5 years old. Of 10 children, only 0.1 will reach 10 years of age. However, after passing 10 years of age, they will be exceptionally robust and strong.
  • Sisticans become independent at 10 years of age, and their parents will focus all of their efforts on their next child.
  • The relations between men and women are exceptionally strong, and culturally, people live more as couples rather than as family units
  • Freezing cold during the day and scorching hot at night
  • Daily temperature difference is 200 degrees
  • Contains many volcanoes, and the metalwork forged by the volcanoes’ flames are their primary export

  • Because of how mixed the races are, they cannot be distinguished by race
  • They are sometimes referred to by the name of the country they came from, such as Kobi Country or Rubi Country, but in general they are referred to as Helesians
  • The relations between the Helesian countries are said to be those of cooperation, coexistence, restraint, and non-aggression, but in practice, there are many underground skirmishes unknown to the races of other continents.
  • Nearly all of the world’s minerals are located beneath hard ground, and only the Helesians seek them out
  • Of the minerals they collect, iron and other hard metals are sold to Sistica Continent, and the jewels, copper, and lead are sold to Schell Continent
  • Because of this, the Helesian countries are all wealthy, and are targeted by bandits and other countries as a result

The general rule is that the King’s children rule the municipalities.

With the exception of 1 municipality, the children of the previous King and the children of the current King are the municipalities’ Lords.

The people who rule the fiefs are nobility.

There are about 220 Lords of the fiefs, with 30 fiefs not having Lords.

Since the number of municipalities is fixed, if there are no vacant positions, then it is impossible to rule a municipality even if one is the King’s child.

Tax

The minimum tax paid by one citizen to the Lord is 5 sitt.

The Lord can set the tax to anything higher than 5 sitt.

Other than the standard tax

Farmers pay crops, mountainfolk pay firewood and meat, riverfolk pay fish, and merchants and artisans pay 20% of their income as tax.

The Lord pays the country a tax of 1 sitt per citizen, plus a tax determined by the area of their territory.

The militia are not obligated to pay taxes, but the Lord must pay tax for all citizens of their territory, including the militia.
